Our story started with a simple realization: traditional marketing methods failed to take into account the importance of face-to-face interactions. By engaging consumers directly, we could produce real results for our clients and that's exactly what we did and continue to do to this day.

We experienced early success working for big name businesses and charities like World Vision and Best Buy, but our real breakthrough came when Shaw approached us in 2006. At the time, the company was struggling to compete in the digital voice service industry. The program we developed for them was so successful that their digital service grew 4x over in the first phase of the campaign alone.

Not only did we launch a unique voice over IP for the company, we also helped them achieve incredible operational efficiency and built an internal marketing program that still fuels their growth today. We also grew. Over the course of 2 ½ years, this project saw The Acquistion Group grow from 25 to 200 team members and diversify through partnerships with payment processing brands like Moneris.

The success we saw through these early partnerships, took us from a single city direct marketing agency to a multi-city agency. We established offices in Victoria and Calgary, in addition to our downtown Vancouver office, and started to attract other big names in the industry like TELUS.

TELUS came to us with a desire to take their marketing to the next level. Together, we rolled out strategic programs and services that transcended the market and allowed TELUS to expand across the country. This partnership established The Acquisition Group as more than just a service provider for TELUS, but rather as an integrated strategic partner.

Our method, being highly personal, hinges on great people. Our accomplishments are a testament to the quality of the individuals that have made The Acquistion Group into what it is today. The reputation we built through our partnerships with companies like TELUS and Moneris, paved the way for new relationships with exciting brands like Inclera — an emerging leader in the fintech industry. Our success has also allowed us to give back to the community, and we are proud to partner with TELUS' Days of Giving, the Aga Khan Foundation and Make-a-Wish Canada.

Today, the future is bright, and that stands true for everyone at The Acquisition Group. Because we believe so strongly in the power of people, we offer our people limitless potential for career and personal growth. The Acquisition Group is still growing — right this moment. In 2014, we had 300+ team members, in 2015 400+, and in 2017 that number exceeded 450! We have no intention of slowing down. In fact, we intend to go global one day soon, and for that, we need more great people... Could that be you?
