Oh Lord Sugar, where do we start? Before The Apprentice, this British business mogul was already well established and incredibly successful. A businessman, a politician, a Lord, Alan Sugar has his fingers in many pies and his business acumen is legendary. After founding Amstrad in 1968, Sugar’s holdings just grew and grew and nowadays he is a billionaire as well as a media personality thanks to his appearances on hit show The Apprentice. Most of the businesses that Sugar set up have some variation of his initials in the names, I mean if you’re that successful then why wouldn’t you! He has had his fair share of controversy in the past but it cannot be denied that Lord Sugar is definitely a business genius and worthy of the term icon.
