As her name may attest, Arianna Huffington was the co-founder and editor in chief of The Huffington Post. She has found herself on numerous influential women lists over time and as her work grows it’s not hard to see why. Setting up a successful online blog and news site in a fast growing online world was a stroke of genius and as bad-ass business women go, she is well deserving of the title. AOL purchased The Huffington Post in 2011 for a cool $315 million and made Huffington both Editor in Chief and President of the company. Although she stepped down from the company in 2016 that doesn’t mean she’s stopping, Huffington set up Thrive Global which is focused on the ever popular health and wellness sector.
